As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you'll be immersed in a fast-paced setting, providing care for a high volume of adult and NICU patients and gaining invaluable knowledge with every shift. Schedule/Hours Schedule varies to meet patient needs across multiple sites.
Orientation:
Facility-wide and 2 days department-specific. Qualifications 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). Current NC licensure. BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred for Resource Team. Proficiency in critical care, CVICU, NICU, Emergency Department, progressive care, and all floor therapies. Willingness to float to multiple facilities within the region. Familiarity with EPIC EMR and a range of respiratory equipment. Responsibilities Deliver respiratory care in adult and neonatal critical care settings. Float as needed within Region 2 to cover patient needs at additional sites. Collaborate closely within a team-based department culture. Adhere strictly to clinical protocols and patient safety standards. Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
