Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Immerse yourself in the vibrant community near Monroe, NC, where a travel assignment as an Imaging - CT specialist promises both professional development and memorable local experiences. Working within a setting that boasts robust imaging capabilities—featuring cutting-edge CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine—ensures exposure to a broad spectrum of practices and collaborative leadership styles. You'll work alongside seasoned professionals, handling a dynamic daily volume of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department cases, and expanding your proficiency in advanced diagnostic technology. This environment is perfect for broadening your skill set, enriching your resume, and gaining familiarity with the latest EMR (EPIC), RIS (Epic Radiant), and PACS (Philips iSite) systems.
Schedule/Hours:
Orientation includes 1-day administrative onboarding, followed by 2 days to 1 week of departmental immersion (weekdays, even for weekend roles).
Qualifications:
ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced CT registry BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of relevant experience Open to first-time travelers Competency with peripheral IV starts, venous/arterial phase scanning, multi-phase and stroke imaging, colorectal studies; TeraRecon experience is a plus
Role Responsibilities:
Perform imaging procedures for ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient units Execute CT guided invasive procedures and cases with anesthesia as needed Carry out cardiac CT imaging during day shifts Provide exceptional care in a team-focused, collaborative department Utilize power injectors and state-of-the-art Siemens scanners
