Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist serving students in grades 4 through 6. This contract position spans from September 2026 through November 2026, where you'll work closely with a collaborative school team to support the speech and language development of young learners. With a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, this role offers you the chance to use your skills in a supportive educational environment near Gaylord, MI.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Relevant experience in school-based settings or a strong desire to work with elementary students Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsKey Responsibilities:
Work directly with 4th through 6th grade students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with each student's goals Collaborate efficiently with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress Provide both group and individual therapy sessions as appropriate Maintain accurate records through regular progress monitoring and documentation Participate in school meetings, professional development, and contribute to a positive learning environmentPerks and Advantages:
