Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can make a real impact for children ages birth through kindergarten. This opportunity runs for the full 2026-2027 school year, starting in late August and continuing until the conclusion of the school year, with the added option to participate in Extended School Year (ESY) services. Work a steady 35 hours per week, supporting young learners and collaborating with educational professionals in a dynamic environment. You'll have the opportunity to shape critical early communication skills and empower both students and their families as they build a foundation for lifelong learning.
Key qualifications and experience:
Active SLP licensure required (CFY and CCC accepted) Background in school-based settings preferred, but clinical fellow applicants are welcomed and encouraged Knowledge of IEP processes and early intervention best practices Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Flexible, compassionate approach focused on student growth Role responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language services to children from birth through kindergarten Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations in alignment with program needs Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and therapy plans Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote positive outcomes Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Support students in both individual and group intervention sessions This contract position places you in the heart of school-based service delivery, where your work directly contributes to helping young children gain confidence and essential communication skills.
