Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students across K-12 with varied speech and language needs throughout the academic year. You'll play a pivotal role within school environments, primarily leading group speech-language therapy sessions. While occasional travel between districts is necessary to collaborate with fellow SLPs, you'll also have autonomy within your own caseload, making this a balanced, dynamic school-based position. Mileage is reimbursed, so you can focus on delivering essential services without worry. This role follows a traditional school calendar, running from August through May and offering consistent hours, averaging 36-37 each week. You'll interact with a diverse student population, adapting your expertise to support a range of communication disorders and help students achieve their full potential in both academic and social settings.
Key Qualifications:
Completed graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience working in schools or with K-12 populations preferred Ability to lead group therapy sessions effectively—most caseloads are group-based Willingness to travel between school districts as needed (mileage reimbursed) Strong collaboration skills for partnering with other SLPs when required Excellent communication and organizational abilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:
