Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to make a meaningful impact in educational settings! Two positions are available for onsite school-based SLPs for the 2026-2027 academic year, with the possibility to begin during the 2025-2026 ESY term. This contract position offers the flexibility to design your daily schedule within the regular school day, servicing students across PreK-12th grades, with most responsibilities centering on elementary and middle school populations.
Essential Qualifications:
Current and active Michigan SLP license (please include a license screenshot with your application; you may verify your license using the provided link) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Prior experience providing speech-language services in a school setting (elementary, middle, or PreK-12) Ability to independently manage a typical school SLP caseload, including evaluations, therapy, IEP documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication skills and adaptability to serve diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy and intervention across all grade levels Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans Complete timely and accurate assessments, progress notes, and required documentation Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to maximize student success Provide consultation and training to teachers and families as needed This is a full-time contract role set at 35 hours per week. The position offers flexibility to tailor your work hours within the standard school day. As an onsite role, you will develop strong working relationships with students and school staff alike.
