Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based setting, where your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology will make a direct impact on students' lives during the 26-27 school year. This is a contract, onsite role with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week. Serving a diverse group of students aged 2 to 22 with moderate to severe disabilities, you'll be instrumental in supporting communication development and overall educational access.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and provide speech-language therapy, addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding needs, and receptive/expressive language delays Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing appropriate to individual student needs Produce thorough, insightful reports from assessments and classroom observations Work closely with students on IEP objectives and monitor progress Serve as a collaborative partner with educators and parents, sharing vital information on student development and strategies for support Adjust approaches and problem-solve to meet evolving student needs Maintain accurate and organized documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
Qualifications:
Must possess or be eligible for an Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and Teacher's License from the Department of Education (IDOE) Preference given to candidates with 1-2 years of relevant SLP experience Strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills Proven flexibility and creative problem-solving abilities Benefits include competitive compensation based on experience, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision).
