Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as an SLPA in a dynamic school environment near the vibrant San Francisco area. Collaborate with a passionate team of educators and Speech-Language Pathologists, helping to advance students' communication skills and confidence in and out of the classroom. This contract position offers an excellent chance to gain valuable experience while making a real difference in young lives.
Qualifications:
Active SLPA license in California Experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families Flexibility and organizational skills for adapting to varied caseloads Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Support implementation of treatment plans as developed by licensed SLPs Work with students individually and in small groups on speech and language goals Assist with preparing instructional materials, resources, and activities Document student progress and maintain accurate records Provide feedback to SLPs, teachers, and families regarding student performance Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in every interaction This opportunity is ideal for those who thrive in collaborative settings and have a genuine passion for helping students reach their fullest communication potential.
