Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication goals in a dynamic educational setting conveniently located near High Point, NC. This contract-based opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a passion for helping children thrive in a collaborative school environment.
What You'll Bring:
Current Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility in North Carolina Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities Dedication to fostering inclusive learning experiences
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students with diverse communication needs Deliver targeted speech, language, and communication therapy (individual and group sessions) within the school setting Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students' IEP goals Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in meetings as required Educate school staff and parents on strategies to reinforce therapy objectives in daily routines Stay current on best practices and continue professional growth
