Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting near Middle River, MD. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated SLP who thrives in educational environments, values collaboration, and is committed to helping children reach their full communication potential.
What You'll Bring:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred Previous experience working in school settings is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
What You'll Do:
Provide direct therapy services to students according to IEP goals Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress Develop and maintain appropriate therapy documentation and reports Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development Use creative and evidence-based techniques to engage students across various age groups Support and educate staff and families on student communication strategies Perks for
