Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact every day by helping students grow and thrive with a full-time speech-language pathology opportunity in a supportive school setting serving K-12 students. This contract position invites dedicated professionals to collaborate within a dynamic educational environment, fostering communication skills that open doors for learners at every stage.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in the state or eligibility to obtain one promptly Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs across the K-12 spectrum
Role Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to maximize student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
