Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives by supporting communication and language development in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist who holds both SLP and SLP-CCC credentials and thrives on fostering positive outcomes for children.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure as required for practice Previous experience working in a school setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to create individualized education plans and track student progress Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and school guidelines Deliver direct and consultative therapy, both individually and in group settings Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student progress Stay updated on best practices and legislative requirements in school-based speech therapy
