Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting elementary students with speech and language needs. This role centers on providing a full spectrum of school-based speech-language services to a vibrant and diverse caseload across transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. Serving approximately 60 students, you'll collaborate within a supportive educational environment to make a genuine impact each day. As the primary SLP across an elementary setting, you'll deliver both direct intervention and comprehensive assessment, collaborating with dedicated staff and families. You'll address a range of disabilities from general education needs to more moderate and severe cases, designing and implementing individualized therapy plans, facilitating IEP meetings, and driving measurable progress for every student under your care.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience in K-5 or elementary school environments preferred Skilled in administering and interpreting speech/language assessments and evaluations Comfortable with direct therapy, IEP documentation, and various service delivery models Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with teams and families California CTC credential preferred, though not required Adaptable and creative, able to handle a varied caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students TK-5th grade Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver both direct and consultative services across a range of needs and severities Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district policies Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families This contract offers 37.5 hours per week working with passionate professionals committed to student success.
