School Speech Therapist | Rosamond, California Soliant - 3.9 Rosamond, CA Job Details Contract $47.53 - $67.53 an hour Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic elementary environment where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will touch lives across a diverse caseload. This contract opportunity will have you working 37.5 hours weekly, supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 5th grade. Expect to manage an average caseload of 60 students, spanning the full spectrum from general education needs to those requiring more intensive support. Your role will be pivotal in providing comprehensive speech and language services. From delivering direct intervention and conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to participating actively in IEP meetings, your clinical insight and organizational skills will make a real impact. Collaborate closely with educators and families to foster communication growth and help each learner reach their highest potential.
Key qualifications and experience sought:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current SLP-CCC credentials Strong background in school-based SLP services across K-5th grade Confidence managing a wide range of student needs, from general education to moderate/severe Experience with IEP development, direct therapy, and formal assessments/evaluations Familiarity with paperwork and compliance in school settings California CTC credential preferred, but not required In this position, you'll: Provide direct therapy to diverse elementary caseloads Conduct thorough student evaluations and develop individualized IEP goals Deliver both group and one-on-one interventions for articulation, fluency, voice, language, and pragmatic skills Maintain documentation and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive school culture If you're ready for a contract opportunity where each week brings new rewards and challenges, this opening awaits your skillset.
