Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into an impactful educational environment as a Full Time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant working in a school setting near Agate, CO. This contract position welcomes professionals ready to support growth and communication for students from PreK through 12th grade. You'll collaborate with a dedicated special education team, facilitating student success while enjoying the support of on-site supervision. Your expertise will contribute to a nurturing, engaging atmosphere, as you help students realize their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
Active SLPA license or eligibility in Colorado Experience in a school environment, preferably with PreK-12 caseloads Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to complete assessments and implement treatment plans Collaborative spirit for participation in IEP meetings
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and assist in developing individualized therapy plans Deliver direct and indirect therapeutic services to help students reach communication goals Document progress and collaborate with licensed Speech Language Pathologists Contribute to IEP process, including meetings and reporting on student outcomes Work responsively with teachers, staff, and families to optimize interventions Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations As part of this role, you'll enjoy a competitive hourly pay rate of $38-$42, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
