Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist working in a dynamic school environment near Agate, CO. This rewarding contract position offers the opportunity to support PreK-12th grade students by delivering essential speech and language services, collaborating with educational teams, and fostering communication skills that can transform lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students across grade levels. Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in both group and one-on-one settings. Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and advocating for students' communication needs. Document progress and maintain ongoing communication with families, teachers, and other stakeholders. Engage in ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to create positive student outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY with supervision provided. Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification. Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial but not required. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
