Job description AlphaBEST Education 2026-2027 School Year Group Leader Wellington, Colorado $15.25 - $16.25/hr Monday - Friday (Weekends off... because work-life balance matters!) Looking for a part-time role that fits around the school day? AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day. For those with experience supporting students, the Group Leader role offers the opportunity to lead a meaningful before- and after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for an early learning professional who: Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment Takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed In this role, you will: Lead a group of student explorers through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more! Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder. Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents. Provide a caring, family-oriented environment that fosters positive relationships among staff, children, and parents. This role is ideal for educators with experience in: Teaching or classroom leadership Youth programs Staff supervision or team leadership

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain) Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds) Preferred to have a minimum of 455 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+) Must be 16+ years of age for Group Lead Assistant/18+ of age for Group Leader. Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by CO childcare licensing regulations Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations (verification of hours) Why Join Us?
