These experienced professionals provide administrative expertise, facilities management, natural and cultural resource planning, and a broad array of other professional skills that support the National Park Service through the Experienced Services Program (ESP). Positions listed here do not guarantee employment for any definite period. Enrollment in the Experienced Worker Programs administered by NEW Solutions is temporary. The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee is an "at-will" relationship. This means that an Enrollee is free to terminate enrollment at any time during the enrollment period, and NEW Solutions and the Agency have the right to terminate the relationship with the Enrollee.PLEASE NOTE

Serves as an Archaeologist supporting the Resource Management Division of Saguaro National Park. Primary responsibilities include cultural resources GIS legacy data development and normalization, museum collections cataloging, monitoring of projects, field surveys, recording sites, conducting artifact analysis, report preparation, Vanishing Treasures historic preservation documentation and assistance, and other archaeological-related work as needed Coordinate Site Steward Volunteer work and enter new information as needed inCRIS. 50
% Assist with NHPA compliance for park projects 30% Assist with the development of preservation and interpretation projects for historic sites 20%Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in Archeology with minimum additional experience of 15 year(s) in Archeology and historic site documentation. Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe AcrobatOther:
Required Certifications:
Must meet the requirements of Arizona SHPO to be a qualified archeologist.Health and Safety Considerations:
Training and Job Health Analyses will be provided for field work, communications, desk work. Physical requirements: Primary duties will be office work with occasional field site visits and assessments.
