Position Start Date:

Required Degree:

Bachelor's or Master's in Physics and Astronomy or related area. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

Required Experience:

Experience with chemical surface functionalization. Experience with spectroscopic ellipsometry layer characterization.

Preferred experience:

XPS characterization of organic monolayers. Capture of Nucleic acids on surfaces and characterization by fluorescence and XPS.

Duties/Expectations:

Will analyze surface chemistry results for polymer attachment to surfaces. Will make surface modifications on porous metal surfaces for DNA capture. Documents Required at the
