- Job Description
- Be part of a growing team in a dynamic environment! The ideal candidate would perform high-throughput screening experiments involving various therapeutic targets in support of drug discovery. Lab responsibilities include assay execution, reagent preparation, and cross-functional group support if needed to support the Screening Group.
- Associate Scientist Duties Include but are not Limited to the
Following:
- + Executes 384-well microplate biochemical assay measuring interactions between small molecules and various target proteins + Utilizes liquid handling equipment such as ECHO, plate washers, V-preps, BRAVO, WELLJET and other liquid handling equipment to accommodate high-throughput screening operations + Prepares reagents, performs reagent QC, and chemistry-related calculations as needed + Maintain consumables as needed + Follow all SOPs as defined and communicated + Participation in and presentation at group laboratory meetings + Perform other duties as required and assigned + Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.

- Basic Minimum Work Requirements
- :•+ Minimum 0-2 years of relevant industry experience in a laboratory setting + Ability to read and interpret documents, such as standard operating procedures and technical reports + Ability to perform analyses and data interpretation + Ability to multitask with organization and manage time effectively + Ability to solve practical problems and troubleshooting skills + Ability to work in a laboratory setting, according to the physical requirements of a laboratory role + Lab equipment and office computer/software proficiency + Above average oral and written communication skills + Demonstrates a positive attitude and capacity for team environment + Ability to troubleshoot and conduct small projects with minimal supervision + Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Compensation:
