This is a research track faculty position for one-year, and is contingent upon continued funding availability. The successful position will lead an research program focused on elucidating the mechanisms that drive mitochondrial dysfunction in neurodegeneration and aging, using cellular and animal models. Beyond primary research, the candidate will take a leadership role in laboratory management, ensuring operational efficiency and providing mentorship and technical training to junior researchers and students. Research-Track faculty are expected to have developed sufficient expertise and skills to contribute immediately to the research initiatives of the program they join without an expectation of significant training.
