Full-Time Posting Detail Information Position Summary A Research Scientist position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jennifer Surtees to study pathways of DNA metabolism mediated by the mismatch repair ( MMR ) complex Msh2-Msh3. These pathways include post-replicative MMR , double-strand DNA break repair ( DSBR ) and triplet repeat ( TNR ) dynamics using the model system Saccharomyces cerevisiae . The project involves the development of cutting-edge approaches, with a combination of in vitro protein biochemistry and in vivo genetic analysis. The Surtees lab provides a collegial environment and has trained a diverse group of people over the years. We welcome scientists from all backgrounds and we mentor trainees at all levels.

Specific Job Responsibilities include:
