Senior Biochemical Product Scientist (full time) Offered wage : $76,149.00/year Work location : 10101 Southwest Freeway, Suite 100, Houston, TX 77074 Job Duties Conduct in-depth research on tumor-associated protein targets. Utilize scientific methodologies to identify, characterize, and validate clinically relevant proteins for application in therapeutic development and translational medicine; Conduct design, engineering, and optimization of recombinant protein production pipelines, applying complex principles of protein chemistry, cell biology, and bioprocess engineering to maximize protein expression yield, purity, bioactivity, and scalability under GMP-like conditions; Collaborate with laboratory teams to engage in protein engineering, expression, purification, and quality control. Perform statistical and structural analysis of protein production and purification data using specialized analytical software. Identify critical quality attributes, troubleshoot purification bottlenecks, and formulate data-driven recommendations to improve batch consistency and performance; Analyze and interpret functional assays and biochemical activity data to refine strategies for verifying protein functionality across a variety of experimental platforms. Employ high-resolution methods such as ELISA, SPR, and flow cytometry, and author comprehensive technical reports detailing experimental findings and optimization metrics; Investigate cellular and sub-cellular biochemical processes, including intracellular signaling, apoptosis, metabolism, and protein-protein interactions, to inform recombinant protein design and therapeutic targeting. Utilize advanced imaging, isotope labeling, and cell culture techniques to trace molecular transformations in vitro; Assist in the development, production, and global distribution strategy of the EndotoxinFree product line and other consumables, ensuring that scientific integrity and operational efficiency are maintained across manufacturing, supply chain logistics, and market implementation; Prepare and deliver detailed scientific documentation, technical white papers, internal validation reports, and strategic presentations based on research findings. Collaborate with product development and commercial teams to inform product positioning, technical training, and scientific outreach. Requirements The candidate must possess at least a master's degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or any equivalent biology field plus at least three (3) years work experience in the same occupation or a related occupation in the biochemical or biological field.
