The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing results, and maintaining accurate records. This role involves working with laboratory equipment, following FDA, EPA, and ISO regulations. Job Summary Each day will consist of tests to determine the detection, bacterial count or identification of various microbes and pathogens such as Pseudomonas, E coli, Listeria, Salmonella, Legionella, and many more. Test methods include, but are not limited to, PCR testing, petri-film, and pour plates using various agars specific to the target bacteria. We perform testing on foods, waters, environmental swabs, algae and cannabis in addition to special projects. Duties
  • Perform various laboratory procedures to support microbiology testing
  • collect and analyze data from experiments
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company protocol
  • Utilize molecular biology techniques for analysis
  • Contribute to quality assurance and control processes within the laboratory
  • Lab Courier
  • Maintain a clean and organized bench
  • Wash Labware
  • Preparation of Media
  • Use of Autoclave
  • Overtime available Qualifications
  • Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred
  • Proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
