Job Description

GL Staffing is seeking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Microbiology Technician to join our Quality Control team in a cosmetics manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to begin a career in microbiology.
Location:
Miami Gardens, FL Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30
PM Pay Rate:
Starting at $17.00/hour Responsibilities Perform basic microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples. Prepare culture media, solutions, and laboratory materials. Collect and label samples following laboratory procedures. Record and maintain accurate laboratory documentation. Clean, sanitize, and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and safety procedures. Assist senior microbiology staff with routine laboratory activities and special projects. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related science . Previous laboratory experience through school or internships is a plus Basic knowledge of microbiology laboratory techniques. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow written procedures and work independently after training. Basic computer skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
