Purpose This position involves the collection and compilation of environmental data from sites including bat and avian monitoring, under different stages or phases of environmental work processes. Responsibilities Leadership and Direction + Perform work under moderate supervision. Receive direction on moderately complex assignments, tasks, and execution. Work is frequently reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound techniques and principles. Review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance. At the Operational and Company Level + Work effectively with other departments and with employees at all levels. Do the Work + Carefully operate field equipment and instruments. + Perform biological monitoring. + Perform wetland/water delineations. + Generate and log detailed field notes and data collection sheets. + Perform basic calculations related to sampling data.
