Your Role:
Quality Control Clinical Associate (Avian/Poultry Testing) As a Quality Control Clinical Associate, you will be part of the Quality Control team supporting animal potency and safety testing for avian vaccines. In this role, you will execute regulated testing procedures, ensure animal welfare, and support compliance with USDA and 9 CFR guidelines while maintaining accurate documentation and facility readiness.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Conduct avian vaccine testing, including vaccinations, blood collection, necropsy, and challenge studies
  • Provide daily animal care, monitoring environmental conditions and ensuring compliance with animal welfare standards
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with USDA and regulatory requirements
  • Support investigations, trending, and analysis of testing data, including deviations and change controls
  • Assist with SOP creation, facility inspections, and training to ensure compliance and operational readiness What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education:
High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent experience)
    Experience:
    Experience in animal care, laboratory, or regulated environment preferred
    • Top 2 skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures in a regulated environment + ability to work both independently and as part of a team What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
    • Veterinary Technologist degree or equivalent training
    • ALAT, LAT, or LATG certification
    • Knowledge of IACUC guidelines and animal welfare standards
    • Experience with poultry or avian species care
    • Experience with SOP development, documentation, and data analysis
