Job Description

Soil Testing - Multiple Positions Available! Looking for steady weekday work with no nights or weekends? We're hiring for several Soil Testing positions in Kearney! These are full-time seasonal opportunities through the end of the year with a Monday-Friday schedule.

$16.50+/hour

Monday-Friday, day shift; hours may vary
Position:
Full-time, seasonal through the end of the year Positions Available Log-In Technician Help receive, organize and track customer samples. Duties include data entry, assigning lab numbers, organizing samples, and moving samples to and from storage. Excel, data-entry and customer-service experience are a plus. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors approximately 30% of the time. Scooper Prepare samples for laboratory testing by scooping, extracting and pouring samples. This is an assembly-style work environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to stay on your feet throughout the shift. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Grinder Help prepare soil and other product samples for testing. Duties include grinding samples, placing trays in the prep area, organizing and storing samples, performing quality-control checks and completing routine equipment maintenance. Lab Dishwasher Keep the lab ready for testing by hand washing used vials and test tubes and preparing them for the next batch of samples. Great for someone who enjoys hands-on, repetitive work and likes staying busy. What We're Looking For We need dependable, hardworking people who can learn quickly and pay attention to detail. These positions are an important part of keeping samples moving accurately and efficiently through the testing process. Excellent attendance is a must!
