Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Biological Technician to join our dynamic research team. Duties Conduct laboratory experiments involving cell culture, microbiology, histology, molecular biology techniques, and other biological procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols Maintain and operate laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality for accurate data collection Follow laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and CGMP guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations including FDA standards Prepare and handle chemicals safely, maintaining sterile laboratory techniques during sample processing and analysis Record detailed experimental data accurately in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and maintain comprehensive laboratory records for quality control and audit purposes Support research & development projects by assisting with experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of results Ensure laboratory safety by adhering to chemical handling safety procedures, proper waste disposal, and maintaining a clean working environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field; relevant experience in an industrial or clinical laboratory setting is highly preferred Strong understanding of animal physiology, microbiology, histology, molecular biology techniques, and cell culture methods Familiarity with FDA regulations, GLP standards, CGMP practices, and laboratory compliance requirements Proficiency in using laboratory instruments such as microscopes, centrifuges, pipettes, spectrophotometers, and other scientific equipment Experience with laboratory record keeping systems and Microsoft Office applications for data documentation and reporting Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail; ability to follow complex protocols accurately Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a research setting while maintaining high standards of safety and quality control Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a team environment Join us in pushing the boundaries of scientific discovery!
