We are seeking a dedicated EQ Technician to join our team in Austin, TX. This role is essential in supporting various aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and non-routine microbiological and biological testing.
Maintain and operate laboratory instruments and equipment.
Generate and maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records.
Support the resolution of manufacturing problems and participate in technical studies.
Prepare and sterilize media/materials in accordance with SOPs.
Engage in special projects and cross-training as needed.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn internal systems.
Ability to perform tests efficiently without sacrificing accuracy or safety.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
Must be able to occasionally lift objects up to 25 pounds.
Preferences
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a biological/environmental laboratory environment.
Understanding of laboratory instrumentation and methodologies, especially in microbiology and environmental sciences.
