This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge scientific research focused on immune system mechanisms and therapeutic development. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in molecular biology techniques, immunological laboratory methods, and data analysis, driving innovative projects from concept to completion within a collaborative environment. Your work will directly impact the advancement of immunological understanding and biotechnological applications, supporting the development of novel diagnostics and treatments. Duties Design, optimize, and perform molecular biology experiments including DNA isolation, PCR, transfection, and next-generation sequencing to investigate immune-related pathways. Cultivate mammalian cell lines using sterile techniques, perform tissue culture procedures, and transfect cells with various constructs for functional studies. Conduct immunological assays to analyze immune responses and protein expression levels. Develop and validate assays for biomarker detection and immune profiling, ensuring reproducibility and accuracy in accordance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Analyze complex datasets using bioinformatics tools, R, Python, and other data analysis skills to interpret experimental results and generate scientific insights. Maintain meticulous records of experimental procedures, results, and protocols to ensure compliance with laboratory standards and facilitate reproducibility. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research projects involving cell & molecular biology research, assay development, and biochemistry to advance scientific understanding of immunology. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related field. Proven laboratory experience in tissue culture, DNA isolation, PCR, and other immunological laboratory techniques. Experience working with viruses is a bonus. Strong knowledge of cell biology concepts including mammalian cell culture, transfection methods, and cytokine analysis. Experience with bioinformatics tools such as R or Python for data analysis; familiarity with next-generation sequencing technologies is a plus. Demonstrated ability to conduct scientific research independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Excellent record keeping skills with attention to detail; experience working within a regulated environment such as CGMP is advantageous.
