South San Francisco, California job type: Contract salary: $35.00 - 39.31 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Nonclinical bioanalytical activities in GLP and non-GLP environmentExtract protein, DNA, and/or RNA from necropsied animal tissueRun ddPCR, qPCR, ELISA, MSD, Western blot, and related analyses on tissue extractsPerform nonclinical sample analysisSupport drafting and maintenance of analysis plans and SOPsData analysis, compilation, and QCTrain and support other analysts on bioanalytical methods, workflows, and best laboratory practices qualifications:
Required:
BS in Biology or related field (MS preferred)Hands-on experience qPCR/ddPCR, ELISA or MSD5+ years of hands-on experience a bioanalytical, molecular biology or related laboratory settingExperience following SOPs and study documentationDemonstrated ability to maintain accurate, complete and traceable documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to delivering high-quality work
Preferred:
Experience supporting GLP toxicology or IND-enabling studiesExperience with automated liquid handling systems and assay automationExperience with
LIMS/ELN
systems and electronic data workflowsExperience in gene therapy, biologics or biomarker analysisExperience with SnapGene, SoftMax Pro, GraphPad Prism, JMP, Excel, and similar applications #LI-KH1 skills: Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Control (QC), Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
