We collaborate with each other and with our clients. We currently have a role available for a Pharma Cell Biologist. Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Engineering and characterizing cell lines (e.g., CRISPR, overexpression using chemical or virus delivery systems) as well as maintaining and culturing various cell lines. Designing and executing experiments that integrate biochemical and cell-based approaches. Applying biochemical and molecular biology assays (e.g., binding assays, protein-protein interaction studies, RT-q-PCR, pulldown, western blotting) to support target validation and mechanistic studies. Contributing to experimental design/execution, data interpretation, troubleshooting. Preparing technical reports and scientific presentations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including structural biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and biophysics. Job requirements include, but are not limited to: Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, molecular biology or a related field, with 1-3 years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience. Strong hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays and biochemistry/molecular biology assays, such as ligand binding assays and ELISA. Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis software (such as GraphPad Prism, ImageJ). Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. Works well both as a team and as an individual. Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery. This is a day shift position (approx. 8a-5p local time).
