CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking two Sewer Assessment & Rehab - Field Crew Assistants to join our Water Team in Wilmington, DE . In this entry-level role, you'll work alongside experienced field and engineering professionals, helping inspect and evaluate sanitary sewer systems that support the health and well-being of local communities.
What You'll Do:
Assist engineering and field staff with sewer assessment and rehabilitation projects Participate in sanitary sewer inspections through flow monitoring, map reading, and field data collection Support smoke testing, manhole inspections, and other field investigations Help identify sources of inflow and infiltration that can impact sewer system performance Collect, organize, and enter field data to support project reporting and analysis Assist with data management and other project-related tasks as needed
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent required No prior experience required; prior experience with Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Surveys preferred Knowledge of basic mathematics and formulas required Familiarity with Microsoft Office software with the ability to operate computer programs associated with sanitary sewer study Ability to work in confined spaces and outdoors, tolerate extreme environmental conditions, and lift/carry 30 lbs. regularly Valid driver's license required with the ability to travel as needed NASSCO and/or Confined Space Entry certifications preferred

Salary Range:
$20.00 - $24.00 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
