This position ensures that models are functional, durable, and aligned with curricular objectives while assisting with laboratory preparation. Create models and related learning materials to enhance student learning in alignment with curricular goals Monitor the condition of existing models, performing routine maintenance, repairs, or replacements as needed Innovatively solve model-related challenges related to durability, tactile properties, and functionality Maintain accurate documentation of the model construction process and specifications Work in support of the main campus CIVET workshop and the Director of CVM Model Building at the Harrogate, TN campus Assist with setup and breakdown of clinical skills laboratories, ensuring models, equipment, and consumables are available. Support veterinary technicians and faculty during laboratory sessions as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work and laboratory environment Maintain accurate records of teaching models, tools, and supply inventory Track usage and forecast needs to ensure adequate availability of resources Coordinate ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies Work collaboratively with faculty on interdisciplinary projects involving clinical skills models Supervise veterinary student research assistants contributing to model development or inventory management Participate in departmental, College, and University committees and initiatives.
