Wildlife Removal Technician — Palm Beach County & Miami-Dade Palm Beach Wildlife Services Full-time | Four 10-hour days per week
Pay:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience Palm Beach Wildlife Services is hiring a Wildlife Removal Technician to serve Palm Beach County, Miami-Dade County, and surrounding South Florida areas. This is hands-on field work helping homeowners and businesses solve wildlife problems through inspections, trapping, exclusion, minor repairs, cleanup, and customer education. It is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, professional person who enjoys practical problem-solving, takes pride in quality work, and wants to build a career in wildlife removal and exclusion. This is not a desk job. You will work in attics, on ladders, outdoors in South Florida heat, and at customer properties throughout the day. We are looking for someone comfortable with tools, willing to learn, and committed to doing the job the right way. What You'll Do Inspect residential and commercial properties for wildlife activity, entry points, damage, droppings, nesting, and other signs of infestation Set, check, and remove traps in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations Perform exclusion work to seal entry points and prevent wildlife from returning Assist with common South Florida wildlife issues, including raccoons, opossums, iguanas, squirrels, birds, bats, snakes, and rodents, as applicable Perform minor repairs, cleanup, and wildlife-proofing work Take clear photos, document work accurately, and communicate professionally with customers and the office Use ladders, hand tools, power tools, safety equipment, and company-provided equipment responsibly Keep the assigned vehicle, tools, and job sites clean, organized, and professional What We're Looking For Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Reliable, punctual, honest, and able to work independently Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, on roofs and ladders, and in hot outdoor conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work daily Basic construction, repair, or tool-use ability Strong customer-service and communication skills Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset Ability to reliably report to work on time for scheduled shifts Willingness and ability to travel throughout the company's service area, from Port St. Lucie to Key Biscayne Preferred Qualifications Experience is strongly preferred, but paid training is available for the right candidate. Wildlife removal or pest-control experience Construction, roofing, handyman, repair, or field-service experience FWC nuisance-wildlife experience Schedule and Service Area Full-time schedule: four 10-hour days per week. This is a field-based position serving customers throughout Palm Beach County, Miami-Dade County, and the broader South Florida service area—from Port St. Lucie south to Key Biscayne. Daily travel between customer properties is required.
