A Physiologist studies cell, plant or animal life systems, including human anatomy, and studies the effects of outside agents on the human body. May teach physiology, work with patients in clinical settings, or do research in a specialized area of physiology, including vaccine or pharmaceutical development.

The primary purpose of this job is to teach courses in Anatomy and Physiology and/or Anatomy and Physiology Labs. Examples of Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching classes and/or labs (regular load is 3 - 6 contact hours per week); maintain close communication with the Course Manager throughout the semester.
Office hours:
30 minutes before or after class time. Other professional duties include preparing lecture materials, writing and grading tests, and preparing for lab.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Anatomy & Physiology, Biology or related field from a institutional accredited college or university, with 18 graduate hours in Anatomy & Physiology required for teaching lecture class. A bachelors degree in Biology or related field will be needed to teach lab classes. Ability to teach
