Job Description
The Lu Lab in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the Carver College of Medicine, University of Iowa, is seeking a full-time Post-Baccalaureate Research Assistant to join a research group studying the mechanisms underlying cell-cell fusion. The Research Assistant will support lab operations and perform experiments under general and direct supervision. This position offers hands-on training in confocal and advanced microscopy, cell and molecular biology approaches (e.g., CRISPR-Cas9-based gene editing and molecular cloning), data analysis, manuscript preparation, and scientific communication.
