What You Will Do:
The Scientist/Lab Analyst II will join our diverse and dynamic bioanalytical, LC-MS team. As a Scientist/Lab Analyst II you will be responsible for the complete preparation and analysis of biological samples. You will analyze complex data sets, interpret results, and collaborate with senior analysts and peers to achieve project goals. Your role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our laboratory's data and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Perform assays on bioanalytical samples for pharmaceutical and chemical companies. Perform LC-MS assays for the routine batch analysis of bioanalytical samples involving simple to complex analytical techniques. Work in compliance with Study Plans and validation plans and all relevant SOPs. Operate general laboratory equipment and instrumentation systems and utilize automated data collection/reporting systems Ensure smooth transfer of data to PIs and participate in evaluation and interpretation of data. Train junior analysts on Techniques and procedures. Responsible for preparing buffers and solutions on a daily basis and enter into laboratory notebook or database system Review results generated using various techniques for bioanalysis and method validation.
Your Profile:
You will bring relevant scientific operations experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
Required qualifications and experience:
Effective communication and teamwork skills when executing logical problem solving and experimental strategy. Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field BS and 3+ years of industry experience in LCMS and sample preparation, or MS and 1+ years of industry or academic experience in LCMS and sample preparation Strong technical skills and proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis and reporting. Excellent attention to detail, and willingness to learn analytical chemistry and
LC-MS/MS
