Molecular Biology Location:
Massachusetts We are seeking a Biologist with 3-5 years of laboratory research experience to support pharmaceutical research and drug discovery programs.
Responsibilities:
Perform RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, snRNA-seq, and other NGS library preparations . Conduct nucleic acid extraction, purification, quantification, and qPCR . Prepare and perform NGS library QC and sequencing workflows. Design, optimize, and troubleshoot molecular and cell biology experiments. Analyze experimental data and communicate results to research teams. Support target identification and validation for drug discovery programs. Maintain accurate experimental documentation using electronic lab notebooks.
Required Qualifications:
B.S./M.S.
in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field. 3-5 years of hands-on laboratory research experience. Strong NGS experience, preferably Illumina . Hands-on experience with single-cell and single-nucleus RNA-seq library preparation is required . Experience with 10x Genomics/Chromium, Parse Biosciences, ScaleBio, or similar platforms . Experience with bulk RNA-seq and amplicon sequencing preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred:
CRISPR/gene editing, high-throughput screening, and laboratory automation/liquid handling experience.
Pay:
$48.00 - $55.00 per hour
