Location:
Boston, MA Reports to : Senior Principal Scientist, Molecular Biology About the role Execute Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows for DNA and RNA sequencing library preparation. Support technology development, troubleshooting, and scale-up for high-throughput workflows. Maintain clear, organized records of experimental design and execution in electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) such as Benchling. Collaborate with wet lab and computational teams to support and provide updates on research progress. About you BA/BS and MS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genomics, or a related field. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in generating NGS libraries in an industry setting. Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including PCR and qPCR. Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills. Familiarity with Illumina sequencing library preparation and sample QC such as concentration and size evaluation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience with inventory tracking and reagent QC. Experience in single cell sequencing, long-read sequencing, or other sequencing platforms a plus. Experience with assay development, automation, or high-throughput sample processing. Comfortable operating in fast-paced, startup or early-phase biotech environments.
