Research Associate Co-Op, In Vivo Cardiopulmonary/Fibrosis
Job Description
Basic molecular biology techniques:
RNA isolation, qPCR, Western Blot, ELISA and flow cytometry Maintains clear, accurate records of experimental details and summarize data as needed in study reports. Attention to detail Provide updates at weekly team meetings. Core Competencies (Required Skills) Physiology, biology, biochemistry and molecular biology. Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team as well as independently with supervision. Excellent communication and organization skills, good working knowledge of MS office, and data plotting. Preferred Skills Interest in cardiopulmonary physiology and fibrotic biology. Prior experience with laboratory animals (rodents), open to learning and perfecting rodent handling and dosing techniques. Familiarity with basic molecular biology techniques including RNA isolation, qPCR, Western Blot, ELISA Experience in cardiac and pulmonary function assessment, and imaging is a plus.
