We are currently seeking a Biorepository Specialist with the National Institutes of Health. Ø Learn more about what Kelly can do for you at https://government.kellyservices.us/ This position is needed to support the NICHD Office of the Clinical Director to manage biospecimens obtained from ongoing clinical protocols. This position would also support HRpQCT program to obtain bone density and microarchitecture scans for study participants in the NIH Clinical Center. TASKS.
The contractor shall:
Support the NICHD Biorepository and HR-pQCT Imaging Program. Assist in assuring quality and efficient operations across both programs, working directly with the Clinical Director and team to accomplish programmatic goals. Perform laboratory analyses on biological samples using established procedures and protocols. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, analyze findings, and ensure equipment and workspaces meet applicable standards and safety requirements. Collect, organize, and analyze scientific and biological data in support of research objectives. Monitor and observe experiments, interpret experimental results, and use computer systems to store, process, and analyze data. Maintain accurate and complete research documentation, including laboratory notebooks, experimental observations, production data, and test results for scientific evaluation. Prepare reports, summaries, and scientific documentation based on study results, and assist in communicating research findings and supporting collaborative scientific initiatives. Learn and apply new laboratory techniques, methodologies, and technologies as required. Coordinate the work of biological technicians and technologists, and assist with developing and implementing improved laboratory and data management practices.
