Location:
Johns Hopkins at Greenspring Station, Lutherville, MD -
Assisted Reproductive Technologies LabFull Time/Days:
6:00am-2:30pmWeekend Rotations Required
- Will Consider IVF Lab Specialist II, or III
- Position Summary:
- Reports to the Laboratory Director/supervisor.
- With minimal supervision and in strict compliance with established policies and procedures, performs the specialized testing related to Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).
- Routinely analyzes tests and results to ensure accuracy.
- Participates in quality control, new procedure development and research projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology science from an accredited institution required.
- Masters or PhD, preferred
Work Experience:
- Experience in a human or animal assisted reproduction lab. 3 years required.
- Relevant knowledge and experience in a human assisted reproduction lab.
5 years preferred.
Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training:
- Technical Supervisor board certified by American Board of Bioanalysts, Preferred.
