Job DescriptionPosition OverviewThe Division of Hematology & Oncology in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Henry Ford Hospital & Henry Ford Cancer Institute (HFCI) is currently recruiting a full-time, board-eligible/certified Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy Physician for its busy, well-established hospital-based, academic practice, with an established fellowship program. We are looking for individuals pursuing a career in Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy and those that are board certified in Hematology, completed a Stem Cell Transplant Fellowship training and/or one of year experience in managing Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patients.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct clinical care to stem cell transplant and cellular therapy patients in both inpatient and outpatient settingsManage complex hematologic malignancies and non-malignant disorders requiring stem cell transplantationParticipate in clinical decision-making for patient selection, conditioning regimens, and post-transplant managementCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncology, infectious disease, and supportive care specialistsContribute to clinical research and participate in Phase 1-4 clinical trials through the Southwest Oncology GroupMentor and supervise hematology/oncology fellows and residents in stem cell transplant rotationsTeach medical students from Wayne State University and Michigan State University School of MedicineMaintain current knowledge of advances in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy through ongoing professional development Qualifications Board certification in Internal MedicineCompletion of an ACGME/AOA-approved Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program or 2-year dedicated fellowship in hematologyCompletion of a Stem Cell Therapy Fellowship and/or one year of experience managing Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patients
