Responsibilities:

Assist with field data collection and environmental monitoring, including wetlands, habitats, wildlife, and water quality surveys. Support biological assessments, habitat evaluations, and species impact assessments under the guidance of project managers and technical specialists. Record, organize, and enter technical data; assist with data analysis and preparation of graphs and tables. Learn and follow established methodologies, protocols, and regulatory guidelines. Utilize GPS devices and digital cameras in fieldwork. Follow all Atwell safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Natural Resources, Wildlife Management, Wildlife Biology, or a related field. Basic knowledge of native and invasive plant species identification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and familiarity with file-sharing platforms. Basic GPS data collection skills Ability to navigate diverse and rugged terrain in varying weather conditions while carrying up to 50 lbs. Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with project managers, clients, and technicians. Our standard intern pay rates range from $19-$27 per hour. #LI-MM1 Why Atwell?
