Support staff: genetic counselors, genetic nurse, genetic counseling assistant

Coverage Type:

outpatient clinic + inpatient consults+ call

Facility Type:

academic/hospital based outpatient clinic

Practice Setting:

outpatient with inpatient consults

EPIC Avg.

Daily Census:

4-5 per day, may increase with additional provider

Beds:

195 beds

Patient Age Group:

primary peds with occasional adult

Procedures:

General genetics evaluations, biochemical/metabolic disorder management, inpatient consults (PICU, NICU, pediatric ward)

Qualifications:

State License(s): MO and IL (for occasional telehealth consults), will accept licensure candidates BC in genetics required

Certifications:

BLS CSR Req d: Yes, BNDD DEA Req d?: Yes 2-5 years minimum experience required Strong diagnostic skills in in genetics, experience with metabolic conditions, ability to collaborate with genetic counselors
