This laboratory-based role will support small-molecule discovery for preclinical development through hands-on execution of biochemical and cell-based workflows. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, strong technical skills, and a track record of rapidly delivering high-quality data in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities :

Conduct routine mammalian cell culture using standard aseptic techniques

• Conduct routine medium- and high-throughput biochemical and cell-based assays using fluorescence, luminescence, and other detection modalities to characterize compounds and support target-engagement and mechanism-of-action studies.
• Perform cell-based assays to support target engagement and mechanism-of-action studies
• Assist senior researchers with experiment execution, data analysis, troubleshooting, and result reporting.
• Familiarity with literature and the best internal practices to identify opportunities to improve productivity and quality of work
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and recommend corrective actions for routine problems
• Maintain complete, accurate, and current documentation of laboratory experiments in laboratory notebooks and required systems.
• Prepare protocols, procedures, technical reports, and presentations to communicate experimental results clearly to project teams and supervisors.
• Apply established quality control processes to ensure data integrity, reproducibility, and compliance with standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• BS with 3+ years or MS with 1+ year laboratory experience in cell biology or related scientific discipline
• Expertise in mammalian cell culture, plate-based cellular assays, immunoblotting, cellular transfection, and basic molecular biology and biochemical assay techniques
• Familiarity with automation instruments and multi-mode plate readers
• Outstanding problem-solving and organization skills.
• Effective team player and strong individual contributor
• Self-driven, flexible, pragmatic and able to handle multiple tasks while delivering high-quality data.
