The successful candidate is expected to contribute to research projects related to the oral microbiome applying various computational algorithms to analyze sequence data from microbial communities. The research activities will consist of: Implement and evaluate existing algorithms for the analysis of intra-species strain variability in the oral microbiome. Contribute to the development of novel pipelines to resolve strains in metagenomes. Evaluate the relationships of strains with periodontal disease. Participate in weekly laboratory meeting, presenting and discussing data. Assist in manuscript preparation and writing.

Salary Range $38,000 - $42,000 Additional Salary Information The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
