EOU is soliciting online adjunct applications for qualified online teachers in the following academic discipline: Biology (Human Anatomy and Physiology) - Candidate will teach 200-level Anatomy and Physiology online. Responsibilities Eastern Oregon University invites applications for an adjunct to teach online courses in Anatomy and Physiology in our Biology Program. We seek an energetic, positive professional dedicated to teamwork and high-quality undergraduate instruction with experience in online teaching. The candidate will teach 200-level Anatomy and Physiology. Creates an environment that acknowledges, encourages and celebrates differences. Functions and communicates effectively and respectfully within the context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities and cultural backgrounds. Seeks opportunities to gain experience working and collaborating in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings with a willingness to change for continual improvement. Required Qualifications Graduate Degree in associated discipline Previous experience teaching in post-secondary education Documented capability to learn online learning software application(s) Ability to effectively inspire and teach students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles in online education environment Successful completion of a EOU background check and submission of valid work authorization documents Preferred Qualifications Terminal Degree in associated discipline One or more years of experience teaching anatomy and physiology in post-secondary, online environment Competency in the use of an online learning management software application(s) ( i.e. CANVAS , Blackboard, etc.)
